AV Technician Supervisor

Job Summary

You will be leading and managing a team of AV and Event Technicians, ensuring that the team provide the highest quality of technical support to all clients. Your role will be to facilitate correct preparation, implementation, and operation of all aspects of all audio visual, video conference, audio conference, display, and presentation technologies. You will be expected to support the operation with clear and precise documentation and have the ability to train others in the correct operation of systems. You will proactively lead from the front to ensure the service operates within agreed SLAs and you will manage the delivery of all VC AV business as usual services, including service desk, project management and technical support

 

Main Duties

  • Video conference (VC) and Audio conference (AC) support
  • Presentation, meeting, and Events support
  • Support of large display solutions and related media
  • AV Engineering support, fault rectification and escalation
  • VC and AV Helpdesk/coordination
  • Dealing with related bookings and reservations
  • Documentation
  • Supervising colleagues and local operations

The position involves a high degree of exposure, working with senior levels of staff to provide the services listed above.

 

What you will be doing?

  • Leading the teams in the day-to-day AV support across the site.
  • Supporting the wider team through ongoing training and coaching
  • Provide AV Support between the hours of 7AM-10PM (Mon-Fri) based on a 40-hour working week.
  • Manage the AV mailbox.
  • Liaise with external clients and the AV Department to ensure first-class AV Meeting delivery.
  • Liaise with internal clients to consolidate their meeting requirements and complete Job Allocation Sheets accordingly.
  • Report all service shortcomings affecting the AV Team to the Onsite Operations Manager.
